Hey there, My name is Padder Zahoor, Welcome to my blog. Last night I was thinking, what is the best advice that I can give to myself? Why myself? Because everyone loves himself more than anyone else. It took me a while to figure out what is the most valuable thing to me right now & I came to the conclusion that Knowledge is all that I have. What I'm most grateful for is the knowledge that I have. So the best advice I can give to myself is:
"Just dive deep into the ocean of Knowledge"
Keep learning as Einstein once said, "Once you stop learning, you start dying." So keep learning, learn both Horizontal & vertically. Expand your horizon. What do I mean by horizontally & vertically? Horizontally means learn different subjects i.e., diversity in subjects. If you are a science student let's now explore a few other subjects also, for instance, arts & humanities & vice-versa. Don't stick to one subject. if you are a doctor start to learn about other fields of life, like art, philosophy, religion, psychology, human psychology, sociology, etc.
"Knowledge is like an ocean & I just drank a cup from it".(PZ)
By vertically I mean to go deep in one subject & more of it. For instance, if you are a Philosophy student, go & explore the branches of philosophy & its sub-branches & study every subtype in detail. Increase your knowledge of the universe & it will help you in every aspect of life.
"Even the darkest room can be lit up by just a candle".(PZ)
Why I gave this weird advice to myself? First of all, I have experienced that the more I learn the more I'm understanding myself, nature, other fields of life & how they work. The second thing is that Knowledge helped the human race to thrive better on this planet in every aspect of life.
Keep reading books about life by different authors that will definitely help you as it has helped me a lot. Don't underestimate the power of knowledge. If you want to get out of misery you have to learn, learn a lot. But if you don't know where to start & what to learn in the first place. Then I'll definitely recommend The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People book by Stephen R. Covey. Which I have read by myself two-three times, it is a very great book to start a new journey. Also, the only book that I have read in the Urdu language is Kamyabi K Usool by DR. Afaq Nadeem Khan, it is also a great book if you know the Urdu language.
Last but not least the first command that Almighty gave to Prophet Mohammad PBUH was "Iqra" which means read & recite.
Thanks have a great life.
